If I place an order for a ring, when will I get it?

We collect orders for rings every two weeks (1-14 and 15-30/31 of every month). All the ring orders are submitted to the studio in Ukraine on the 15th and on the last day of every month. Then it will take up to four weeks to carefully craft all the orders. After that, all the orders will be shipped from Ukraine to the United States via  special jewelry delivery service. The delivery will take approximately 14 days. As soon as your order reaches our American office, it will be shipped via insured USPS Priority Mail. Priority Mail takes on average 2-5 business days in continental United States. We understand that it might take up to  two months but is it worth waiting a little on one of a kind work of art? We think so!

 

Do you support any charitable organizations in Ukraine?

Yes, we do. Portions of the sales will be donated to Serhiy Prytula Charitable Foundation.

 

If I place an order for earrings/bracelet/necklace when will I get it?

Your order (if it is in stock) will be shipped via USPS Priority Mail the next business day if the payment was received by 8:00 PM EDT. Priority Mail takes on average 2-5 business days in continental United States.

 

Who is making my jewelry?

Your jewelry is made by a team of highly skilled artisans in Ukraine. Please, check out this video about our studio and the crafting process. Remember to subscribe to our channel to see other videos and promotions.

 

How fast will my order ship?

Your order (if it is in stock) will be shipped via USPS Priority Mail the next business day if the payment was received by 8:00 PM EDT. 

 

What is your return/Exchange policy? 

EJ from Ukraine wants you to love your new purchase. If however you need to return an item we are here to help.

For returns, please contact us within 14  days of receiving your order. All items returned to us must be unaltered, unworn and in saleable condition. In addition, all returned items must include the original packaging in good condition and all associated tags.  To request a refund or exchange, please e-mail  us to customer@ej-ua.com. Include your first and last name, item name and reason for return. Once return is received, all items will be carefully examined and full refund or store credit will be issued within 5 days. Please note that refund/store credit will be issued for the value of merchandise returned only (shipping fees will not be credited). To return an item you purchased through the Site, please ship your return, insured, to us at: “EJ from Ukraine” PO Box #752092, Dayton OH 45475-2092. Please allow 2-3 weeks for the processing of your return.

 

How should I get my finger sized? 

Any local jewelry store should offer free sizing. Also you can get an inexpensive sizing tool in any online store. We offer a helpful print out - a ring sizer that you can use (available on our website at https://www.ej-ua.com/files/ringsizer.pdf) to help you with sizing questions. Please note, it is your responsibility to know the size you order. Due to all the rings being made to order in Ukraine at our artisan studio and shipped to the United States, we cannot exchange your rings if you ordered the wrong size. EJ from Ukraine guarantees to ship you the size you ordered, but cannot be responsible for the errors made when you ordered the wrong size by mistake.

 

Why is my silver jewelry changing color?

This is very common for silver jewelry and it is called tarnishing. Your silver ring reacts to moisture in the air, the acid in your sweat or chemicals like bleach, ammonia or chlorine. The good news is that tarnish only occurs on the surface and can be polished away.

 

How should I clean my jewelry?

To clean away mild tarshish, submerse the ring in warm water that contains a mild dishwashing detergent. Rub the ring gently with your fingers and then rinse it thoroughly. Do not submerge leather straps in water from your necklace or bracelet. Use the cotton swab to clean the silver part. Heavily tarnished jewelry can be cleaned at home using a product specifically designed to clean sterling silver. Because silver is easily scratched, don’t use any abrasive cleaners on your jewelry.

Can I customize a piece I found on your website? What about the ring I found elsewhere?

We will gladly customize one of our pieces to fit you and your style. Please, email us at customer@ej-ua.com for the price quote. We do not copy designs from other stores as it is illegal to copy another artist’s work. 

 

Can I ask another jeweler to copy a ring from your website?

No, as we own the rights to all of our designs.

 

Can I place my order over the telephone?

No. We do not take the orders over the phone.

 

Is my personal information secure?

We process all of our orders through PayPal, which utilizes the highest state-of-the-art industry standard Secure Socket Layer (SSL) encryption technology to protect all personal information for secure e-commerce transactions. It encrypts all of your personal information including credit card number, name, and address, so that it cannot be read as the information travels over the Internet.

 

How will I know whether you received my order that I placed on the web?

After you submit your order, EJ from Ukraine will send you an e-mail within 24 hours confirming your order was received. You will be sent another e-mail when your order has shipped, which will contain a shipment tracking number for your reference so that you can track your package online.

 

Do you have payment plans or financing options?

All eligible PayPal users may use its PayPal Later option. It is completely controlled and provided by PayPal and we do not provide any other financing options.

 

Why does my order over $200 require a delivery signature?

Your order requires an adult signature because all orders are shipped fully insured for your protection, and both the United States Post Office and the private insurance company require that an adult at your shipping address signs for your insured package upon delivery.

 

What happens if my order is lost or stolen during shipping before I receive it?

All shipments from EJ from Ukraine are sent fully insured via the United States Postal Service. You are not in any way responsible for the loss of a parcel until you or someone at your shipping address has signed for it.

 

Does EJ from Ukraine charge sales tax or handling charges?

We are located in Ohio state and collect 7.5% sales tax only on orders shipped to addresses in Ohio as required by law. We do not charge any "handling" or "service" charges of any sort.

 

Does EJ from Ukraine have International shipping?

At this moment, we only ship to the USA and Canada. Please, e-mail customer@ej-ua.com with all the questions about wholesale international orders. We might be able to make it work for you.
